Katy is an associate producer and game designer at Liquid Interactive in sunny Brisbane, Australia who has worked on a shotgun blast of projects: iPhone apps, iPhone games, interactive installations, flash games, desktop widgets and a sprinkling of websites. Working hours revolve around coming up with creative and sometimes quirky concepts to solve problems and answer questions.
Katy has a healthy obsession with the details, especially the ‘why’ of things – she simply cannot help but re-design crappy experiences, whenever she encounters them. As a people watcher, she analyses behaviours while considering her subjects decisions, motivations and perspectives.
She’s pretty sweet on video / computer games and all forms of entertainment including movies and television. Platforms on which she plays games include (in order of frequency) PC, PS3, XBOX, iPhone, DS and Wii.
